Busy Bees

The neighbour opposite me has lots of hives in his garden. I really want bees so I was very excited to see this.

I’ve had a much nicer day today. I have been to the local town and picked up some basic supplies. I’ve also met a few English people who have given me loads of advice.

I’ve got the water working and had a shower (cold as no boiler) so I feel clean and that’s improved my happiness levels!

I’ve come up with a plan of action for the house and that means everything feels much less overwhelming. Upstairs is dusty but liveable so we will live up here and I’ll work on downstairs a bit at a time.

Today I cleaned the large hallway room that is going to double up as a kitchen and dining room for the time being. It’s functional but not pretty.

Slept amazingly well last night! Best nights sleep in months! The sound of nature is quite soothing! It probably helped that I was exhausted so we will see how I sleep tonight.

Falling more in love with this amazing country by the day and really want to make this house my forever home one day. Not sure how that will work now with Brexit.
