Pinkeltje

Back in kindergarten, my teacher always read from it.
It's a serie of 30 books and thanks to my mother we have them all. She always looked in the second-hand shop and bought them little by little.
We read a chapter or two every night and we love the funny stories. Pinkeltje is a white-bearded gnome and wears a pointed hat and is as big as a pinky finger, hence its name, meaning "fingerling" (literally "little pinky") in Dutch.
