Anderton Boat Lift

A slow start this morning, then we travelled down to the Anderton Boat Lift to meet up with two friends. It was so lovely to see them and it was a bonus as we only arranged it a few days ago. We had lunch together then walked down to see the lift in action. 

This evening we went out for a meal at a local pub, courtesy of a voucher I had. It was extra special.
