Man At Work...

...how I love to watch someone work..especially in my back yard! 

This is my neighbour Ian who has agreed to help keep my garden under control this year...on a project-by-project basis...A little weeding, a bit of digging and a whole lot of mulching!

It was a shocker arriving home from the cottage yesterday to see just how much everything had grown while I was away. With the heat and rain, all my plants and shrubs have been fooled into thinking they are living in a greenhouse! They have grown too big for their britches and are crowding each other out! This calls for a whole lot of cutting, clipping, splitting, trimming and digging to happen out there  and it is a relief to have someone to help! 

I will sharpen up my cute little clippers and begin my less-than -demanding tasks tomorrow..but today? Bring on the mulch, Ian!
