I admit I am a geology geek but that is a cracking bit of rock.

Brough of Birsay in thick mist this morning. My guests loved it. The Brough, and the weather. They liked the drama of the mist swirling around and were astounded at how quickly it lifted and the views we got in the way back down. By the time we got back to the causeway it was a warm sunny day.

After a wee detour to a well known honesty box for the purchase of tablet and fatty cutties we then headed for an excellent lunch at the Orkney brewery and then an afternoon back in the Neolithic. Cracking day with some really nice folks.
