Calla

Hooray for Lidl - I wandered in the shop at lunchtime for some of my favourite cereal bars only to find they'd reduced the remaining Callan plants to all of £2.50 or thereabouts. Needless to say two plants got popped in the basket pretty swiftly - now all I have to do is keep them alive and try to stop chopping off the flowers to photograph.

Back to my old style flower photos tonight - though of course no-one will be familiar with my old style stuff. Natural light, black velvet background but with a tiny dash of Lucisart Whyeth to bring out the detail. Sometimes it's good to keep it simple....
