Peat & Diesel Play Shetland

The weather forecast was completely wrong, a day of drizzle showers, low cloud and mist.  It finally eased this evening. 

Up at 5am, early shift in the airport. A busy day of flights with extra Norwegian charters on for the Tall ships.  A mix of check-in desk and meeting and boarding flights.  Off out in the town tonight. 

A few drams in Lerwick, and a mini pub crawl from the music and events at Victoria Pier to Holmsgarth.  The headliners of the night were Lewis band, Peat & Diesel.  My first time seeing them and they were outstanding.  Played to a crowd of 7,500, one of their biggest gigs.  The damp weather wasn't going to dampen the party here.  Taken at Holmsgarth, Lerwick.
