Intermission, Verdis Aida

To my surprise there was an opera festival in Kuressaare this week. Of course, all tickets were sold out, but in mysterious ways two tickets suddenly appeared. Verdis Aida was played tonight. A stage was built into the fortress, the audience was big. I was clearly the odd one, short pants and sandals. On the bike there's no room for fancy fashion. But my shirt was clean anyway...

The extra gives you a glimpse of the fortress daytime. 

Tomorrow, Saturday, we're going home, taking the ferry from Paldiski to Kapellskär, north of Stockholm.
