The way through the woods

Met Carolyn for a walk in the morning. The path through the woods was closed, so we had to walk along the main road as far as the traffic lights. The path is being given a tarmac surface, and a new exit is also being created for the high school, further back from the traffic lights on the main road.
We stopped at Davidsons Mains for a coffee, then carried on our walk through the golf course and round to Barnton. I haven't been this way for ages and was surprised to see lots of new building work going on.
Spent the afternoon weeding in the front garden, and Dennis mowed the grass.
