On the banks of the Aisne

We had a short walk along the river Aisne just behind the caravan site. The heron was waiting to fish and he stood so still that initially we thought he was a plastic casting! It was only when he obligingly turned his head that we realised tht he was real! We are staying a few days more at Soissons (just NE of Paris) and enjoying some sun as I believe most of the UK is too.
