Monopod

Yesterday you could hardly see that this project was about the installation of a monopod. On this picture you can see for yourself that it's a monopod indeed. The three legs where the piles will be guided through, are resting on the bottom now giving this structure enough stability. This picture was taken shortly after the jacket was positioned. The riggers were transferred to the top as you maybe can see. They will cut the spreader bar loose from the jacket. Three piles will be stabbed tonight and driven to penetration. It's more or less the same sequence as most jackets. The only difference is that this will be an unmanned platform. To be continued.
