Ceilidh

Day 1 of the conference goes pretty well. There are some sound issues in the main hall, but Tim gets them sorted. And then it’s time for the ceilidh at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.

The venue is amazing - we have the great hall and the “new” library. Tom G and his mates are providing the music. The international guests get right into Scottish country dancing, but by 10 people are starting to drift home.

We’re all out of there by midnight, but a small posse head for more at Whistle Binkies. Frank K and I duck out before 2 and stop for a burrito on the way home. I’m going to suffer tomorrow.
