Super Manzana II

Another shot of the newly pedestrianised streets in one of the new super blocks of Barcelona. We walked nearly 2000 steps down and across the city’s busiest barrio of Eixample in totally pedestrianised street that were previously full of polluting traffic and are now full of plants, trees, seats, tables and benches for the locals. Bliss!

The female, gay mayor who made it happen, was voted out at the recent municipal elections…far sightedness is rarely embraced!
