Kelvingrove Art Galleries and Museum

In the coming days getting around in Glasgow will be a bit tricky with the World Cycling Championships taking place …. so I decided to head out west today, using the ‘Clockwork Orange’ (subway) to get around.

Walking from Kelvinhall Station towards the Art Galleries this is the view with The Kelvinhall on the right and the Kelvingrove Museum on the left.

The Kelvinhall has had many uses.
My memories are ……. the circus and carnival, concerts, the Transport Museum, being a spectator at indoor athletics matches.  Now KH is a multi-purpose venue and home to collections from the National Library of Scotland and the Hunterian Museum.
