Castles and cousins

To Alnwick today. Mum and dad to the castle gardens, the rest of us to the castle. We had lunch with Lil and Martha and watched them learn to fly broomsticks, and we went round the Dragon Experience (twice) with Oliver and Isobel, plus of course some exploring the castle and rolling down embankments. Then home to the cottage where Mike and I took a long walk before tea, and then as the tide was finally coming back in I accompanied Oliver and Matthew down to the beach to build another castle out of sand for the sea to destroy. A lovely day.
