what glorious rain

It was 94 degrees and horrible. I met a friend. After we went into the restaurant a couple of women came in and as soon as they sat down the light departed, the sky opened, and rain blew sideways. We joked with them a bit. When they were ready to leave they came over, let us know it was safe to leave, and said they would protect us. ;-) the storm had passed, the light had returned, the temperature was cool, there were little bits of trees everywhere. 

I went to a lake and relished the feeling of the air. The sky was turning beautiful colors and they and the moon were reflected in the water. Lightning started going behind the clouds, looking fascinating.
