Time in Toulouse

With four hours between trains (that’s where British paranoia gets you) I went for a coffee and mini explore. Taking in the canal du Midi with an amazing mural of a fish and the jardin des plantes. Centrepiece here was a stylish set of national emblems around the main fountain. Eventually the penny dropped - there’d already been plenty of clues - there’s one plaque for each country in the 2023 rugby World Cup that France is hosting later this year. And then onto Paris on my bargain OUIGO fast train.
