Antifacist

Someone does not like faces. That or they can’t spell. You decide.

The trains were running today, but not well. Not only did industrial action mean they would stop running earlier than usual, but they were also running under ‘a speed restriction’ between Kings Lynn and Waterbeach because of some problem with the overhead lines. The train was therefore very late and very slow.

Between the forced late start and the forced early finish, we decided we wouldn’t have enough time for our walk. Third time lucky next weekend?

Instead, we investigated pubs on the wrong side of the track down Mill Road and its vicinity because we’d never been to them. Some seemed dodgy; some less so.

Back at the station, we got a burger and (loaded) fries from the burger van then legged it across the bridge to platform 7 for the train.
