Dinner

We had a lovely, but late night at Linda’s.

I pottered in the garden, dead-heading roses and tidying up a bit this morning, before lazing around reading The Needles Eye by Margaret Drabble.

I’ve cooked for Lynne and Gavin who are eating with us tonight. We’ll have courgette, pea and mint soup, then peppers stuffed with lentils, quinoa, tomato, feta, a salad of raw courgette, pears, Parmesan and pinenuts, lemony potato salad and spicy carrot dip. Pudding is a very indulgent gooseberry cheesecake.
