From the top

We aren’t very often on the very steep and winding C road that runs from Glendaruel  to Otter Ferry but happened today to use it as we were having lunch with friends at the Oystercatcher which is on the shores of Loch Fyne .

It was a very (very!) wet night and morning but the weather was just beginning to clear as we reached the highest point and could see the loch  ahead, under a still threatening sky.
