Three generations!

Em and our daughter came to spend the day with us to celebrate her birthday! D, her husband , was over the Atlantic on his way to the States for work.

We chatted and then played cards a bit till lunch was ready:  Ro’s Shepherd’s pie with a salad! Just discovered that the parsley has grown huge! Then we played more cards, before having a first go of the pavlova!   I then insisted on going for a walk! It wasn’t a long one but faster than Ro and I go normally! 

Back for more pavlova and more cards….
Finally after another game it was fresh pineapple and an ice-cream!  

A wonderful day with so much laughter! A great way to celebrate our daughter’s birthday! 

I’m looking forward to the Prom concert due to start any time now!
