Monoprinting

Church this morning, where after the sermon on Isaiah 59, the Leader led a prayer session based on Psalm 131, verse 2 'but I have stilled and quietened my soul'.

As it was a really miserable and wet afternoon I read it again and contemplated.  Then I watched a bit more of the 'Vera' boxset.  I was so tired I fell asleep for a good hour after that!

It was still raining but I got my umbrella out and went into the garden, picked a few flowers and had a play at something I saw online the other day - actually using the flowers to print!  So I thought I'd blip some of them, the two pink ones are geraniums and the purple one I think is toadflax.

I also attempted to print a rudbeckia, but that is really too solid.  I think next time it will need to be petals without the actual conehead (see extra)

After I cooked my tea, I joined the online Zoom prayer meeting....now chilling out before bed and hoping I can sleep better tonight - I keep waking at 4am and not going back to sleep recently...and of course madam wants to go out as soon as its light!!
