RAIN AND POTS

The morning was all rain….I persuaded The Rev to try a new 5K. It was 2 laps so I planned to do 1 lap as I’ve already done my July challenge. It literally started tipping it down as we started and didn’t stop until we got home an hour later.
#We were soaked and cold…hot showers needed!!

The afternoon was all pots …discounting the 30 small pots. We removed about 40…old chipped or cracked pots from Mum’s garden. We left about 40!!! She has wanted a gardener for a while but they are so expensive. The hospital gardener has offered to help out at a very reasonable cost. He came up today and him and The Rev fitted a water system…oh yes..haha..in all this rain!!! Well when summer arrives it will be useful . The garden was looking better already. Everyone was pleased with the result.

We were glad for a chilled evening watching a funny film.
