A Sunny Sunday
This is a late posting as I spent time dipping in Blippers’ journals, trying to catch up, and by the time I’d finished I was tired and not feeling well, so it was time for bed.
It was a beautiful morning, so we took some time off from removal stuff, grabbed our shopping trolley and walked down to the Farmer’s Market near the harbour. There weren’t a lot of stalls, but we bought some vegetables, cheese and a loaf of Black Barley Bread, which is delicious. After our spot of shopping we walked along Harbour street and stopped for a coffee and a very light nibble, before proceeding back up the hill to home.
After we arrived home, we put away our shopping, tidied away some more items and got our Macs set up. Then MrMacD discovered that the WiFi wasn’t working properly, if at all, so spent a frustrating couple of hours trying to get it to work. He finally cracked it by rebooting the modem from the app on his phone, rather than directly on the modem and that seemed to work.
We sat in our lounge with a drink and some crisps and watched The Chase on MrMacD’s iPad, something we haven’t done for ages. It’s good to have a home again!
I have managed to catch up quite a bit with Blippers’ journals but I still have some more to do.
I took the photos of the rather interesting carved trees when we walked by the playground not far from the Farmer’s Market.
