My first unsupervised day went well.
After dropping Soozy off at the creche Sheila Fleet workshop I decided to take things down a notch.
There was a sea haze hanging over much of Orkney until the afternoon, so I took some "detail" shots and even a portrait of an interesting chap I met in Kirkwall.
I drank coffee and read in a café then sat on a beach in the bright afternoon sun and read some more.
After picking up Soozy we took a drive to Brodgar and took this and some other shots before having a bite to eat.
