Buzz (Monday 31st July 2023)

The controls in the Mini are so like a cockpit that I suspect that if I pressed the wrong switch Buzz would take off vertically. This hasn't happened yet and I do now know what every control is supposed to do, though I haven't tried all of them yet.

It has four driving modes: Mid, Sport, Green and Green+ and I have tried all of these now. Green+ is the most economical as it closes down everything unnecessary (not the radio) to increase the mileage range, but unsurprisingly Sport is the most fun, especially now that I'm at ease with the drive/brake pedal, and gives it some welly. I am also now on an electricity tariff that gives EV owners a much lower overnight rate to enable time-shifted car charging, which brings the cost down even more.
