Went to the dentist in Silloth this morning. It rained all the way there and was still raining when I left.  Having checked the weather app I drove along the coast road to Maryport which I haven’t been to for a while.   There's some good walks near the harbour and managed to walk Misty for a good hour and no rain!!  The tide was in but she wasn’t interested in having a paddle, think the waves were too noisy and it was very windy for her. Walked alongside the harbour on the way back to the car and stopped to look at the boats and the one called DOLFYN caught my attention.  Back home to the rain again.  Shame really as someone in the village had planned to start cutting my hedge today.
