Begonias

It has been a wet and windy day, not summer at all, more like Autumn......
We had a quick walk in the rain in the afternoon.

Today being so wet it was a good time to visit an old friend who has moved into sheltered housing.  We were very impressed with the building and the public rooms, and although his studio apartment is very small, he feels it is adequate for his needs.  He is over ninety years old and doesn't need to be doing housework!  We took him some small gifts and he was mightily pleased!

The weather is really not conducive  to taking nice pictures but I looked into the greenhouse and blipped some of Bob's begonias, which are a lovely splash of colour.
