The offending object

Arnie was able to come home this morning which was great, just a pity he had a diagnosis of two broken ribs to contend with. The care has been exceptional, and we are grateful for all the people who helped make a stressful situation a little easier.

I received a surprise phone call this afternoon when the CEO of Lions Rugby, and a former Bok, Rudolf Straeuli, wanted to find out how Arnie was doing. He shared this photo as evidence that he had been to the spot where Arnie fell with the reassurance that he would put pressure on the City to get the hazard removed.

Damage control maybe, but a good PR effort.
