MonoMonday: Backlit

I've really enjoyed Nickimags888's MonoMonday challenges this month but this one was extra-special: I've had in mind for a while to take some backlit photos of borage, in view of the lovely hairs which cover it - so this was an ideal opportunity.

My plan had originally been to take the photos outside after dark, but the persistent rain (and the still fairly late sunset at the moment) made me change my mind and take a sprig of the plant indoors. Here it is backlit by an anglepoise lamp against a black background.

As usual it looks best large, against black.
