And Good Bye

To my office at the Uni of Westminster. And to the job I have done for over 30 years. And au revoir to the many friends I have made along the way. I stay on as an Emerita Professor and so have an excuse to return - when invited I think!

Today I had lunch with a friend who is also leaving today. We have agreed to meet up once a month. I have written a few messages and had a few hugs. The corridors are quiet and and suddenly felt quite lonely. Time for home.

Time I guess to start planning "the future". Lots of jobs for the next few weeks. And a bit of a rest I think and hope.
