At last blue sky

It rained and rained til about 3, when I crept out to go to the local shops for odds and ends. On my way back I looked across and there was a bit of blue! Combined with the yellow flowers on the fence, and the weather vane on the primary school (I hope the pic is clear enough for you to see the figures are a cat and mouse) this view made me feel happy.
The mystery object yesterday was the copper bottom of an old saucepan (one of my mums) I think the gas flames discolour the metal.
