A bee…see?

Was experimenting with my iPhone camera, using Portrait mode to take a picture of this Teasel, when a bee photo-bombed my shot.

The shot is a discard except for the bee, and my opportunity to be punny.

The better look at a Teasel is the extra. I know it is a Teasel because my iPhone can now tell me it is. It informs me it was once important in the textile industry. The word tease, as in to tease hair, comes from this plant.

It is found in the rough of our golf course, and I have learned the hard way, that if a ball is hit into them, you will come out scarred if you go and look for it. It is covered from the ground to the tip of its very sharp ‘spears’ surrounding its head, with very stiff, sharp thorns.
