Gold Hill - Shaftesbury

We walked up and down this hill, famous for its location as “the bread” TV advert. I was expecting it to be busy but it wasn’t. The rain no doubt was a factor. The museum and nearby Abbey gardens were very informative and also surprisingly quiet. The sweeping views to the south were blurred by the rain. Our grandchildren had been on a farm activity and we picked them up at 15h. They had had a great time.
