Greeny

Earlier on in the week I decided to fix a bit of twiggery to the top of the bird feeding station. The birds seem quite happy to sit on the curved wrought iron bits but I thought it might be better for photos to have a more natural looking stick for them to sit on. 

We've had a few greenfinches about in the last few days and I noticed a male sitting there this morning. He was very co-operative and stayed there while I grabbed a camera and changed the lens.

It's been a better day today but I think it's just a short pause before a lot more rain comes through.
