The Queen’s Well
We had a lovely walk in Glen Mark (at the top of Glen Esk) today. This monument in the glen is to commemorates a visit by Queen Victoria. She and her party stopped here in 1861 to rest and drink from the well.
They had come over Mount Keen from Balmoral to visit Lord Dalhousie at Invermark Lodge.
