Cinnabar moth caterpillar

Small adventure today with the family and the dogs; we caught the ferry to the island of Gigha. We dropped B off at the golf course, then headed north to some sandy beaches. There was lots of ragwort on the path to the beaches, and we found one with many of these caterpillars. There were also lots of bees, butterflies, and other insects - far more than at home this year.
