Lancaster v Essex

I spotted this match happening as I walked into town. There were quite a few people around, the queue out of the sweet shop was considerable. I have started picking blackberries so I had a look at what I keep hoping will be a wildflower area, and after 3 years of putting down yellow rattle seeds, it seems that I finally have had some flower. This is used to help reduce grasses so that flowers can get a foothold. This bodes well for the future. When I got home I decided to make leek and potato soup as I had potatoes to use up, and the rhubarb crumble filling for the freezer as I had asked Mr D to pick some rhubarb for me - the rhubarb season is coming to an end soon so this is for the freezer.
