Golden Gates?

Holyrood Palace glittering and gold in the evening sunshine. Captured as I came out of the Scottish Parliament this evening, following an event on smart, sustainable cities in Scotland. Really interesting discussion and given me lots to think about.

I was in reflective mode anyway, after visiting HMP Young Offenders Institute Polmont this afternoon to meet with the Governor and some of her team. Great discussion - lots of of potential around how we can support learning and engagement with the young people there. I left genuinely excited about the possibilities for good, important work.

So - a day of contrasts. From prison gates to palace gates, and from those with so little power, to those who hold the reins (and reigns)...
