Dalgety Bay Harbour
The weather was beautiful today at lunchtime when I went for a walk in Dalgety Bay. With the sun splitting sky, and genuine warmth in the air, it was a bit of a struggle to force myself to go back to work.
This little harbour is beside Dalgety Bay sailing club; it is quite amazing to think that this scene is at the centre of a large housing estate.
I've never really been interested in sailing as a hobby, but there are times when I could be tempted...
As for the huge vertical pipe sticking out of the water, I have no idea what that is for!
Finally, this HDR picture was created as a merge of three images, performed using Nik Software's HDR Efex. I am now on day one of its fifteen day trial period; I hope I don't come to like it too much... it's pricey!
