Pushing up daisies

I escaped from my desk at lunchtime and went for a walk in Brompton Cemetery, one of London's "big five" Victorian cemeteries. It is a wonderful space and once there it is easy to forget the endless round of meetings, emails and phone calls, as well as to reflect on the alternative! I love it especially at this time of year for the cow parsley, and also the ox-eye daisies everywhere, making the phrase "I'll be pushing up daisies by then!" a reality!
