What a fowl day.......................

  ..... and no, I haven't made a spelling mistake. As the rain was so heavy this morning, we decide to do the food shop in Waitrose, as it's closer to home. After that was done, we went to the coffee shop opposite, called Maple & Bean. It was packed, and we couldn't hear ourselves speak. We then walked up to the town as J wanted to look in WHS Smith, and then the newsagent a few doors up, where I took this photo. When we got home, the rain was torrential, and we had to wait in the car before we could get out. The rain has actually stopped now and the sun has made an appearance.
