A funny old day

Today Ali and I got the train up to Manchester to see the Yayoi Kusama exhibition: You, Me & the Balloons. Fascinating but utterly bonkers. This was after a delicious brunch in the Northern Quarter.

Ali’s sister and her partner joined us at the end of the exhibition and then took us off to find somewhere nice for a beer before food.

Sadly, got a phone call to say that my brilliant Auntie Linda (JustFun) had passed away. Heartbroken for those who she has left behind but grateful for an end to the pain. My auntie Linda was truly one of the most wonderful, generous, faithful and fun women you could ever hope to meet. She’ll leave a great big hole but, thankfully, a wonderful legacy of kindness.

I was grateful to have a company for the rest of the day as we got an early train home.
