Sycamore Gap Hadrian's Wall

We drove north from the Lakes District in heavy rain to visit Hadrian's Wall. Snapped the main shot from the car at 70kmh. The Extra is taken up at Housesteads Roman Fort looking along the wall. Amazing to think 15000 Roman soldiers (and the odd slave no-doubt) built this structure right across the North in 6 years... It would take that long to get Building Approval through back home these days...
