Love Heart

I've been wanting to post an image of a love-in-the-mist bloom since they first came into flower on our dogs' graves recently but have waited until I could get a bug in shot. I'm delighted that my bug is another Mirid with a heart on its back. Perfect.

I love the intricate look of love-in-a-mist blooms with their sort of netted surround. Though from the Sea of Blues packet this one is white. They remind me of my paternal granny and I adore the smell of the seeds.

Horrible wet weather but a few moths were on the wing. I've added a shaded broad-bar, a common white wave and a Jersey tiger to extras. Wonderful flash of orange when the Jersey tiger came into land on the bramble.
