214/365. Marigold

I think it's actually called a Pot Marigold and there are quite a few to be found around the village, which is where I did today's short walk.

We had a couple of showers this morning and then quite a pleasant day until 6.15 pm when the heavens opened. That might have caused a problem as at the same time a semi-final bowls match was being played at the club.

 A slight delay then they played it and what a close match it was, two of our members eventually, and only just, came out winners against two from Fenny Compton. Touch and go.

Back home now of course and we're going to be eating late this evening. Lemon sole and new potatoes if you want to know. Late to bed I think.
