A Good Harvest

It (again) rained all day today until about 3 o'clock. Then it stopped raining and we could get outside to do a few necessary jobs.
One of them was picking raspberries. They are ripening really quickly now and the rain wets everything and means they quickly rot.  I took the picture before picking all the ripe ones.
Then I went searching for some peas that Jan informed we were getting past their best. I searched quite a while before suddenly spotting them growing in the midst of Jan's flowers! I had no memory of planting peas there so that was a surprise. I got about a litre of pea pods and now they are all eaten. Raw fresh peas - what a treat!
It seems my memory of pea planting was fine because Jan planted them there thinking they were sweet peas!
Another job was getting the camper van prepared for a short trip. Fix up the toilet, fill the water tank, and turn the fridge on.  We are going to be at a music festival, Urkult, for three days from tomorrow.  The weather forecast is not brilliant but it is slowly improving. We shall be taking our welly boots! We are also very happy to be sleeping in a camper van, rather than a tent!
