On the Fringes
Preview day at Edinburgh Fringe.
What miserable weather, we used the park and ride and took the tram in.
We had a nice brunch, then a wet walk to our first venue where our show was cancelled.
Instead, we saw the Grayson Perry exhibition at the National Gallery of Scotland, which was absolutely superb.
Headed for a bite to eat, with very slow service which left us rushing for an early evening show, which was charmingly chaotic and overran slightly.
No time for a refreshment, straight out into the queue for the next show, young actor Kieran Hodgson, which was a five star performance, a great way to finish, before tramming it back to the car.
Edinburgh is rammed already.
August weekends will be armageddon.
