Ice Cream

I got up really early because I wanted to get lots of marking done before going to work. I cycled to the bakery to get some crusty rolls for the packed lunches and was back before anyone had got up.
The girls had drama after school and before daughter #2 set off we Saturday in the garden and had an ice cream. After she'd left, I'd nodded off in the warmth of the sun and got woken up by my son knocking on the garden gate. He'd had two exams today - biology and history. He said biology was quite difficult but history was easy. The two questions that he'd hoped would come up were in the question paper.
In the evening, I went to my bridge club.
