Barnstaple station

Worked this morning, had a quick lunch at my desk, then packed up my last few bits and Tim drove me to Barnstaple, to catch the train(s) to London.

Looong but uneventful journey (with a change at Exeter, and stopping at every little station on the way). Checked into my hotel near Old Street just over seven hours after I'd left home. I'd picked up some dinner at Waterloo on the way, so ate that when I got into the room, then phoned Tim - and then nipped out to the Sainsburys round the corner for a 'tiny wine' and some chocolate - for a brief unwind before bed....
